All are invited to the Community of Wellness Fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026. This event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Louis L. Redding Middle School, 201 New Street. Join us for a day of information, fun, and games for families and students of all ages. We’re coming together to celebrate wellness and connect as a community. Activities are free and open to everyone.

The Appoquinimink School District Child Find Department will host meetings to provide information about equitable services as they relate to Child Find programming for school-aged students (grades PreK-12) for homeschool and private school students and their families within the Appoquinimink School District.

- OHS's Sienna Bateman wins $40K scholarship from College Board
Sienna Bateman was in for a huge surprise after her field hockey practice when she found out she was the recipient of a $40,000 College Board scholarship! Sienna is a rising junior at Odessa High School and was one of two monthly winners in College Board’s BigFuture Scholarship program. This program rewards students who complete key steps in the college and career planning process — the more steps a student takes toward planning their future, the more chances they have to win.
